My Existence: Who am I ?

Every living being longs always to be happy untainted by sorrow; and everyone has the greatest love for himself, which is solely due to the fact that happiness is his real nature. Hence, in order to realize that inherent and untainted happiness, which indeed he daily experiences when the mind is subdued in deep sleep, it is essential that he should know himself. For obtaining such knowledge the enquiry, ‘Who am I?’ in quest of the Self is the means par excellence.

Know Yourself

Today people generally live their lives asleep, are
unconscious of themselves, and accordingly behave like machines, subject to
outside causes and pressures. The people of the past generation lived in more
suitable outer conditions and at higher inner levels than the people today.

Meditation and Illness

I am regularly doing agnihotra. Agnihotra appealed to me as an ancient practice of synchronizing circadian rhythms of humans, plants to planetary rhythms to improve health of living things. . While performing Agnihotra the body is stimulated with light, heat, chemical [smoke] and sound [the chanting] energies. There are people advocating agnihotra but none of them studied it as a method of fine tuning of the synchronization of biorhythms with planetary rhythms a possibility which can't be ruled out.
